Amanda & David

Love these two… we had a great time on our shoot! It makes me happy the way David makes Amanda laugh. It’s important in a marriage to laugh together!

Looking forward to the wedding in October, here’s a little sneak peak of their engagement session.

Thank you Gina :) David is a keeper and I think Amanda is too! I’m excited for their wedding day!

Nick Fruit

Nick is currently senior at Savannah Arts Academy who is applying to Towson University’s  theater program in Maryland. He needed a couple of shots for his interview etc. Break a leg Nick!

Two on the way in 2012!

I enjoyed this shoot… the light was perfect and my subjects were beautiful. Chrissy is my dear friend. I love shooting weddings with her and always finding things to joke about together even if we have been shooting for 11 hours. I have learned so much from Chrissy and she is such a wonderful and patient teacher. So excited for the twin girls on the way, can’t wait to meet the little ladies. Alexa always makes me smile and she is growing up so fast. Thanks Chrissy for letting me photograph your belly. Love you both.

Oatland Island

Always so much fun with the Maupins! The other day I made some cookies with Kate and she reminded me that she was born in January of 2004. I was 16 years old and babysat her all the time. I started keeping Jacob when I was about 14. Time flies by… Stephanie used to let me drive with my learner’s permit and Jacob would say “Don’t let her drive mommy she’s bumpy!” Great memories with this beautiful family.

hi!!!

Will you marry me Candace?

Engagements seem to be the theme this Holiday season with the Brodmanns.  I  grew up with Harry (David’s brother see last post) and he gave me a call just before Thanksgiving asking me to shoot his proposal. It was very clever the way he did things on Tybee Island this Black Friday.  Harry wrote his proposal in the sand. Many people saw him writing it and he had a whole fan club on the pier when he brought Candace back a few hours later to pop the question. She wrote YES in his question mark on the beach.  Congratulations to both of you!
